Way better than I thought it was going to be. It was like a blend of Precious with 8-Mile.

Great movie. Not a story that is told often in Hollywood with the potential to be deperessing, but told in a fun tone. Also, I liked how the ending was very realistic. They didn't become superstars, but they have hope.
