I really enjoyed the setting and the acting, the humor (especially Bill Nighy) in the midst of war ,loss, and death. Also the strong women characters and their widened opportunity during wartime. Gemma A. was especially fine and appealing.

It kept me engaged throughout the entire screening even though it is a little bit long. Great 'authentic' (!) insight into how the war effected UK, particularly London. Catherine Pugh is a very likable character although there seems to be some inconsistencies between her need for a faux marriage and her later strength in leaving her fake husband. It's very funny in parts - every character has a lightheartedness about them.

I found it very absorbing . Well acted and a very well done movie. Plot was great.
