Live By Night moves deliberately, with great character development and framing. There are action scenes, including a Model T car chase, but overall it's a character drama with some well acted and well developed back stories. Loved the costuming, enjoyed the dialogue, Chris Messina was very funny. Overall, a really enjoyable movie!

Very good screenplay from a book that I'm still reading - Well acted & the set & costume sare spectacular! Would be nice to have known that the theatre is in Gloucester as I went to a theatre in downtown Ottawa before discovering that Silvercity is now Scotiabank theatre!
