I found this movie honest & authentic, poignant & very human. It was fascinating to see the contrast between Patrick, the 16 year old, who, despite losing his father, is embracing & living his life - involved with friends, girlfriends, sports, music, sex & his uncle Lee, who, though not very old, is dead inside, wrought with overwhelming grief & heartache and just going through the motions.

This movie was a very accurate depiction of grief and how it can change lives. I enjoyed and will be watching it again.

good movie, good acting epically from Casey Affleck but did not like sudden ending anticlimactic ending needed more

An entertaining yet heartfelt saga of a family in crisis. I enjoyed the interaction between the uncle and nephew as it felt genuine. I laughed and cried during Casey Affleck’s characters journey. It was well worth the price of admission.
