One of the best films!!! I was surprised at just how much I loved this... Amazing acting, creative costuming, 'historic' story that still has so many lessons to teach.

Great film. Awesome twist on a classic with solid acting!

This is a role that Peter Dinklage was born to play. He brings incredible wit, power, and depth of feeling to every moment. Haley Bennett, Kelvin Harrison, Jr, and Ben Mendelsohn all deliver strong performances as well, with everyone shining brightest when playing off of Dinklage's Cyrano. The musical elements are enjoyable, but don't add much to the impact of the film. They certainly don't detract, and the score is wonderful, but for the most part, the musical scenes would be just as effective if the lyrics were spoken. The notable exception to this minor critique is "Wherever I Fall".
