This is a harrowing movie that tells the true story of an Everest expedition. Having read the Krakauer book, Into Thin Air, several years ago, I was looking forward to this movie. Even though I prefer action and romantic comedy, this is a beautiful tribute to the adventurers who lived and died on Everest in May of 1996. I thought it was well acted and it rang true to my memories of Krakauer's book

Very exciting and realistic! Knowing that it was based upon a true story adds meaning to the experience.

Absolutely amazing. See it in IMAX 3D! The cinematography is as spectacular as the scenery and the acting and action brings you along. We were gasping and holding our breath throughout.
