With low expectations I attended this screening. The storyline was well written, the unexpected twists and turns had the crowd clapping at the end. Well worth the time and a spring must see.

Excellent! The costuming, scenery, characters & story, all superb!I saw it two days ago & I can't get it out of mind. I actually think I'll be going back on opening night with my whole family. Thank you so much!

Not that I'm a connoisseur of this genre (I'm more of a sci-fi guy), but this was maybe the most beautiful and romantic movie ever made! At least that this reviewer has ever seen. The perfect counter-programming to the "Avengers" onslaught that opens at the same time. Best of luck with this beautiful, sensuous masterpiece. I predict a very long, successful run. I'll rave about it on Twiiter & FB.

I thought the actors were all very strong. I liked the restrained chemistry between the female and make leads especially. The music was beautiful and suited the movie so well. Especially loved the scene where she sang and her neighbor joined in. Very enjoyable period piece done really well!
