predictable and overly long, drawn out story. nothing new or interesting compared to other similar extinction event disaster movies. gerard butler has the charisma of a brick. baccarin was the saving grace showing any semblance of relatable emotion.

This movie should come with a warning....watching it may cause your sense of disbelief to feel like it was hit by a comet (or a few hundred). It's amazing how many things go tragically wrong, but then conveniently work out ok. Special effects were pretty good though.

Not a movie to watch now. Depressing
