It needs more character development and a better plot. It's a very standard disaster movie with nothing new.

It was a decent enough action flick but the acting was a bit lackluster and overacted (FIL) and a bit lengthy. Definitely entertaining.

Interesting idea, good messages, average execution. The relationships between people depicted as black/white and a little bit cheesy.

I did enjoy watching the movie however, it was very predictable from the beginning. It's like I've seen this movie plot several times before. I did enjoy the two main stars. They did a great job so I would recommend this if you like either actor. I would also recommend that people wait to watch this when it comes out to rent.
