Why can't Amy S stay funny in a movie...why all the "what about those people who feel bad about themselves" ...and let's do a movie for them. I have no clue who the intended audience is for this movie. I am a 65 year old male...I know I am not the demographic,.

The comedy fell flat at some points. The most enjoyable portion of the movie was when she was giving the other characters a run for their money by hyping herself up. Lack of diversity as main characters is understandable cause it revolves around a white woman’s point of view but if people of color had gotten more than a minute scene or thirty seconds of them making a face, then maybe the movie would have felt genuine. I did like the way it closed at the end with the picture comparison but to get there it felt like too many storylines collided (the friends, the boyfriend, work, self esteem). Sure, we are not simple as women but it felt poorly executed. However, it was entertaining and I am glad I got to watch it. The movie made some good points about how growing up can take your confidence away, so i appreciated that.

There were some funny scenes and I like Amy Schumer, but this was pretty bad.
