While Gerard Butler’s acting was fantastic, and I was very entertained, I was disappointed by the basic and ‘happy’ ending. I thought it worked out a little too well for the family in the end. But I always love a good end of the world plot!

As with most disaster movies, you have to suspend belief; however, it was entertaining and never boring or slow.

This might have been better as a book. If I understood the ending correctly, the main characters survived to a decimated world. I thought the couple that picked up the mother/son would have just taken their two bracelets and abandoned them. Everything just seemed to far-fetched to actually happen. Like finding each other repeatedly like a needle in a haystack.

Movie was just ok but the effects were well done. The screening itself was poor. Resolution was low and it continued to buffer. Didn't even get to make it through the entire movie as the screening time ended before the movie got to finish playing after all the buffering finished.
