Absorbing movie about true events on the kidnapping of J. Paul Getty's grandson in the 1970's. The supporting actor, Christopher Plummer replaced Kevin Spacey and personally Christopher Plummer made the movie with his acting...truly hated this character's portrayal of a money hungry individual. The director, Ridley Scott provided his usual insightful direction of camera angles and intrigue. Would recommend this movie; however, not really a "holiday" movie to us.

It was a good film, well told and acted.Christopher Plummer again delivers an excellent perform as a villain.Based on actual events, with Hollywood hard to know if the movie was factually accurate. At my screening in the capital of California, the underlying narrative of the evils of capitalism and old white men played well to the entitlement crowd.I would really like to see the version starring Spacey though.

A good film, based on a true story. Strong acting, though the plot was a bit slow at times.

I wondered why most scenes had very dim lighting. Otherwise, well done.
