Leading up to watching this movie our family with four kids watched the prior 3 movies in the last week. All of us were in agreement that the movie was worst of them all. None of us got used to Apes speaking like Yoda and even the kids saw holes in the story. Although I really want to like this movie, it's a far cry from the quality and story of the prior three. It's a step backwards.

I found this movie to be pretty depressing.

well done, better than the previous one, good storyline

It’s an entertaining movie, and the perfect length (not overly long). You don’t really need to have seen the previous movies to follow this one.
