I loved the movie, watching Newt interacting with his beasts and the love he has for them. loved the scorpion dance \rEnjoyed it up to the end when Grindlewald is defeated. Did he die, did he disappear that was kind of fuzzy. I mean they have been chasing and playing mind games all movie and he simply disappeared fighting Dumbledore?\rI was also sad to not see Tina in the movie until the end.

This movie was definitely much better than the Crimes of Grindlewald. I think it did the series justice. Mads Mikkelsen was a great replacement for Johnny Depp, and I also believe that he brought more depth to the character than what audiences were previously shown. I actually really enjoyed the different moments that highlighted the secondary characters.

For true fans of the Harry Potter series, this was a highly anticipated film, despite the major cast swap. Those who became captivated by the strange and amazing creatures in the HP spinoff's first film, however, may find it a bit convoluted and at times sad. For HP readers, this film reveals the trajic life of Albus and Aberforth's sister, Ariana, which also foreshadows the fate of Credence.
