this is a mellow dramatic story, and an interesting take on mental illness and real family situations that surround the afflicted.

Great performances, held my attention halfway through it and then it lost me, too many stereotypical characters, lousy husband, rich brother, bubble-gum sister-in-law etc... I would've liked to see more developed characters, it felt like a big chunk of the story might have been left on the cutting room floor! Still worth watching, could've used another half hour or so!

Kind of a strange movie at times with a really surprising ending.

I was hoping for a feel good comedy about a mom becoming herself once again after childbirth and realizing that she was indeed an awesome mom. But to be honest, this film was just weird. There were definitely relatable parts (the sleep deprivation, rushing around everywhere, nursing, pumping etc,) but I was disappointed in the ending and discovery of who/what Tully really was. Marlo just ended up being crazy and creating the imaginary character which then upsets me because then all of those relatable moments and thoughts labels all new moms as crazy.” I felt uncomfortable at parts as well.
