Cool concept but not great execution. Passengers was a bit of a thriller and a lot of drama. I was bored at times and almost falling asleep. This is probably a movie I would see with friends but not with a date. Pratt is popular, but too goofy for this role.

Original concept. A whole new take on being "lost in space." Makes you ponder the question of what you would do if you were alone, yet surrounded by people, and you had the power to take a life with you in your solitude. Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence were superb. And Michael Sheen was amazing in his supporting role as an android bartender.

very good movie. Great special effects, good story line, decent character development. there were a couple of things that I had problems with, like the 300 year old tree at the end... that was a red oak and the tree shown was not another 88 years old. there was mention of spare parts and med bays in the storage hold. why didnt they set up another auto doc and sleep once they got access to the command level after they fixed the ship and more...

The movie was very good. I enjoyed the fast moving pace and great acting. I would highly recommend this film.
