It was 80% Kara battling her demons. Basically every part that Milly Alcock was in felt like pitiful. But Ruthy had some good parts. I felt myself cheering for this girl more than Supergirl. And Jason Momoa had some of the BEST parts. He made the movie in my opinion. I was also not a fan of how there were child brides/trafficking in there. It could've done without it and still made sense. Its supposed to be empowering for women/girls yet that felt gross. Lastly, I think the soundtrack couldve been better. You advertised Blondie so I was expecting bigger hits from the 80s.

It was pretty good. It would have been better if more of the other superheroes made cameos.

I love how she has a relationship with her pet dog, Crypto. That's her only friend she knows back home. There's a lot of misogynistic personalities among male antagonist characters. The lead male antagonist character does not play fair. He plays for keeps. Supergirl proves herself that she does not need her cousin's guidance.

It was fun. The script was a bit lacking, and the climax was a little boring. But the casting was dead on. And the dog was cute.
