We loved learning about Madame Curie, her husband, her daughters, etc. I didn't read the inspiration book, and I'm sure the movie followed the book. I would love for it not to have included the political overtones of Chernobyl and the atom bomb. Even though the energy source she discovered can become harmful and can be used to harm, she did much more good in the world, and I would have liked the movie more if it focused on that. She was truly remarkable and the only woman with Novel prizes in 2 disciplines. The Chernobyl and atom bomb segues were just noise in this movie.

I truly enjoyed Rosamund Pike as Marie Curie. Her portrayal was wonderful. I loved how Marie Curie was so forward thinking for her time and how straightforward she seemed. Facts, I honestly didn't realize. The movie was very good.

I thought the depiction of the old times were good and the story was great! I liked it overall.

A good movie for girls that like science. I found Madam Currie to be less believable due to the shrill interpretation by the actress, I wondered why they made her that way, it was discordant to the main essence of the character.
