Overall, did a lot with a small budget. Has his usual flare for swift scares with tight sc, some wacked out people, funny scenes and dialog, and with some twist and turns. It's a good movie (3.5 Stars) but not a great. Cast was solid with a lot of weight on the visiting children. For the horror fan, worth the viewing. Where does this fall in M. Nigh's career of directing, somewhere in the middle.

M Night Shyamalan always has an interesting way of expressing himself. This movie has a timely and appropriate message.

I thought it was good! I love how they incorporated the humor into it. It was very creepy, but if there was more horror to it I think it would've been even. Better
