The fight scenes were great, but the plot was a bit all over the place.

A vast improvement from the previous Godzilla movie

It was just about what I was hoping to get out of the film. While the first 30ish minutes are a bit slow, once it gets all of the pieces moving its a really fun smash-em-up between two of the greatest giant monsters ever created. Fans of the Monsterverse like myself will be pleased overall.
