Lots of actions. Stronger characters and a plot that moved along. I enjoyed it for a 2nd installment.

Very action-packed, a much more entertaining and thrilling adventure than the first.Somewhat over the top at times, but the actors sell it well. Great job from Theo James and Miles Teller in particular.

The plot was a bit more 'action-oriented' than the previous film and, while certainly entertaining, lacked the intimacy with the characters that the viewer received from Divergent. There were far more near-fatal episodes and perilous acts than were necessary and, at times, the film even seemed a tad ridiculous and more than a little predictable. Not what I expected.
