A pretty shallow popcorn flick à-la MCU. But sometimes, that is the proper format for a franchise. D&D lends itself to a cinematography that doesn't take itself seriously. My main gripe with the movie is how predictable most of the jokes are, but the action sequences are clever, and the dialogue between most of the characters is enjoyable (Chris Pine is really in his element here).

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie even though I am not a gamer. It was a good mix of comedy and action with a cast of seasoned actors and newcomers. I would recommend it if you’re looking for an entertaining movie to watch with friends or family.

The movie had many laugh out loud moments that was also paired with great action scenes and effects. I’ve never played the game, but it was easy enough to follow along and understand who the characters were. Definitely worth a trip to the theatre.

It was a great movie really good plot and story definitely good characters action and drama and magic and some funny parts was expecting more dragons but overall it was\rA great movie I will be recommending it to friends and family
