Honest film with authentic characters, intersting story features

I found the film to be unexpectedly and charmingly off center in its main character's journey of coming to terms with the loss of his home and the loss of what might have been future prospects. Though he seems to be numb to most of his surroundings, there were shining moments showcasing those in similar situations and the ways in which they coped, especially in Farhad's character, who sees it as an opportunity to truly be who he wanted to be all along. Gave the subject matter the seriousness it needed while infusing dry humor in ways that made for a poignant, internal tale for Omar.

from what I was able to see, I would have enjoyed the film. All previews would be enhanced with CC. For someone with hearing loss, it is almost impossible to know conversations
