Potent. This movie exceeded my already high expectations. The imagery from beginning, middle, and end was perfect. The acting, the actors, and, my favorite, the script was just *chef's kiss*. One of my favorite revolutionary tales depicted perfectly. "You can kill the revolutionary, but you can't kill the revolution." Side note: I cried.

I enjoyed the film. Historically accurate and great performances by the cast. My only critique is parts of the film seemed like it was trying to make you empathize with Mitchell, perhaps just to make you hate him more by the end, but it felt a little off. I'm surprised there wasn't a clip from Deborah Johnson's interview about Fred's death at the end.

Without reservation, this movie is FLAWLESS! Easily the best movie I've seen in...forever? The acting across the board was tremendous, but Kaluuya's portrayal of Hampton was captivating! His charisma and charm, nobility and righteousness were magnetic. The inner conflict of LaKeith Stanfield's Bill O'Neal was palpable. The dialogue was impeccable, so realistic. The cinematography was excellent.
