It was a pretty good comedy movie that was based a lot on Stephen Colbert's popular late night show....albeit with female characters that were pretty great. Overall. A pretty good movie worth seeing.

The greatest testament to this film is that that we both left wanting to watch 'Late Night with Katherine Newberry'. The film was beautifully paced, strong leads (Thompson & Kaling) and a wonderfully observed comment on todays big issues including social media, feminism and positive discrimination. The film time flew by and most of the jokes landed which gave the picture a real boost. One bump note is the romantic story at the end which felt unnecessary but apart from that a wonderful film which I would recommend to all the family (excluding a couple of swear words here and there.)

It could have been better and I'm glad it wasn't longer. I did like most of the movie but I don't think the "F" word needed to be used soooo much. It seemed to be based on how women are categorized for different jobs and that is good. I would recommend it but warn them about the one word used too much.
