I thought the acting was very good and the portrayal of the story was done well. For those unfamiliar with the military or Government related cases-I found that it was somewhat confusing to understand the situation with the records - who is going where to get what, who was controlling or redacting information, how the lawyer was getting things written by the prisoner and what was removed from those records if anything. The Movie did seem a bit long but that could be attributable to the fact that I was not watching it in the theater. Ffinally I was left with unanswered questions that I wish I had been clarified further either by the story or by the written notes. It was unclear why he remained in prison for six years after winning the case. One was led to believe that it was somehow related to the Obama administration, but that was unclear. And nothing was said about what was done with the perpetrators of abuse at Guantánamo Bay. Still overall the movie itself was very good.

The Mauritanian was engaging and thought provoking.

I liked it. It was a nice distraction from the monotony of the pandemic. I also like to see Jodie Foster getting work.

It's very instructive and a further strengthens the claim that operating the law does not help fighting against terrorism. The actors were very good.
