It’s was good. Not bad for a sequel but did lack some of the background story on Denzel Washington’s character.

Movie sequels are tricky business. Audiences expect more beyond the original creation. \rThe plot should contain some new twists, characters should grow in plausible dimensions, costumes and sets should enhance the spectacle. I am happy to say that Gladiator II delivers on all of these elements and more.\r\r

An epic movie with action scenes and a storyline that ties the main characters together. A long movie but definitely keeps your attention.

A good movie. This is not usually a genre I watch, but I had a free pass. I never saw the first Gladiator but had no problem following the storyline. \r\rThe fight scenes are intense. And, as usual, Denzel Washington gave a great performance.
