Definitely a movie that makes you think about the value of consequences and accountability. This should be required viewing for everyone upon graduating high school- especially men. Cassie perfectly encapsulated the emotional baggage of a woman betrayed by men who were able to flitter by the same moment with zero ramifications. \rI'd also just advise adding a content warning in the beginning since there are graphic scenes depicting sexual assault which was not something I was prepared for even knowing what the movie was about.

I really enjoyed this as well as the soundtrack, I love a movie that makes me talk outloud to myself like wait what? or just laughing etc. It was literally an interactive moment, the actors were suited each part as well. I think Promising Young Woman is an important story for today's day and age. it takes this story and tells it through a dynamic new lens that somehow effortlessly blends comedy, rom-com, and dark, dark drama. I'm so excited to see what Emerald Fennell does next.
