It is a good children's version of the story. It has one dog fight seen that is done in the Disney style, otherwise suitable for all ages. If you remember that it's a children's version, then the cgi won't be a disappointment.

Even though the animals in this movie were computerized, they were still believable and entertaining. I've seen earlier versions of this movie and I've enjoyed them all.

Not what I expected, but that's a good thing! Good CGI with the dogs and stunning visuals.
