The movie was very gripping; it definitely held my attention through the whole picture. I loved the change in attitude and the realization that we all have the same color blood no matter the color of our skin. I was horrified to discover the year was 1971 - I would have hoped perceptions and acceptance would have happened before this time. Loved Ann and the fact she and CP became friends - and she took care of him after the vote. Appreciated the pictures of the real people at the conclusion.

It was gut wrenching and moving! We need more of these types of films today! The acting was superb! Taraji was right on!

Moving story enjoyed it from beginning to end.
