Good cast. Interesting film, particularly considering the events are basically true. Violence is always hard to watch, but it's part of this story. Also relevant to the current debate about sentencing for drug offenses.

The story is very interesting, one of those stories that are almost too fantastical to be true.Technically the film is fine but not not groundbreaking. But it doesn't need to be. The story holds itself pretty well and the emotional moments work.The actors are the best quality of the film, especially Matthew McConaughey and Richie Merritt who are great.
