In a year where the coronavirus pandemic ran rampant and uncontrolled, Greenland goes one level beyond the reality into a 2020 nightmare. It explores a range of emotions, which albeit well acted, felt too squeezed. While the movie has a lot of similarities to 2012, not once did I doubt that the 3 of them would make it to the bunker. The ending was extremely predictable and it felt like the story was written backwards instead. Despite Greenland being a "secret" relocation, the military was more than okay taking all those people in at the end. Which brings up the question - why couldn't they just take more people from the beginning? Seriously, is it that easy to get into bunker while the whole world faces extinction?

It was a typical apocalypse type movie. It's a great family movie.

I didn’t get too emotional involved, but it was a good film.
