Sadly, trailer disclosed enough to make the first 30 min uninteresting. If Act 1's intent was to make the viewer "care" about the crew, it didn't work.Probably not too big a spoiler to say that certain of the crew die. The first crew member to bite it was the most appealing and charismatic character. Once he was enshrouded in space blanket I didn't care much about the rest, though I looked fwd to learning who'd survive in the endOverall, a big-budget B movie with one A-list star

Lots of action but could have done more to make us care about the characters.Separately, I am thrilled with the new system of numbers and wrist bands for the free screenings.

It was disturbing to me. I didn't like the way the people died - very creepy which is the ultimate goal of a scary movie so I guess that was a good thing but not for me. I also didn't like that Ryan Reynolds was killed off so early. Overall it was an entertaining movie.

Nothing like The Thing, which was good because I was afraid it would try to be that. Just had some slight elements of Alien and The Thing, but like generic stuff like claustrophobia and how do we keep this thing out, universally usable characteristics. Solid effort, nothing overly fantastic but a solid effort, definitely worth a watch at the theater.
