It was a cute sequel, with funny moments. Some of the comedic lines were a little forced. But it's a beautiful travelogue of Italy, which makes anyone want to hop a flight to Rome and Venice again, or explore this gem of Europe for the first time. Overall, I'd say it was pleasantly predictable, a lot like curling up with a good book.
