There’s a flashback that’s not super necessary and sort of takes away from the immediacy of the walk, and I could’ve used more exploration of Mark Hamill’s character. Otherwise, it’s a very well acted film with strong character-work.

It kept me on the edge of my seat. Great characters and storyline. Would recommend!

The Long Walk is an emotionally tense thriller that explores the bonds of brotherhood against seemingly insurmountable injustice. It is adapted from a novel by the master himself, Stephen King. It’s like the grandfather to The Hunger Games and Squid Game.

It was good. Seemed lengthy, but good.
