Had fun with the film. I strongly believe that audiences will love to cosplay the Bride and Frank. The TRT of the film is too long and the actions of the characters becomes repetitive. Especially when guns are involved. Nolans influence is clearly present and for the half way point until most of the end of the film I felt like I was watching "The Dark Knight". Especially with the scene in the ballroom and gun. Just to conclude. Overall I Love Maggie and her efforts here. This version feels like a directors cut because it stretches out the drama.

To start off, the acting was great and Jessie Buckley was absolutely phenomenal (as per usual). The film was definitely an entertaining watch but the central themes did feel a bit scattered. I would have liked it more if the feminine rage plot was focused on more, rather than feeling like a sub plot that was vaguely touched upon. The film, while enjoyable to watch, definitely felt kind of all over the place towards the end.

While I personally really loved and respected a lot of the choices the film makes, I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to others simply because I'm not sure they would respond to it the same way. I think the film works best when it's grounded in its own reality and lets its characters breathe. The performances are amazing, of course, and the film looks great, but the narrative doesn't always feel focused or cohesive. I think I would have enjoyed it more if some elements were cut and others prioritized, and/or if the film was edited differently.
