Interesting take on the legend. Loved the tie in with Annabelle.

La Llorona was a lot of fun to see in theaters with an audience. There were a lot of jump scare moments that kept everyone on their toes. Unlike other scary movies that are usually very predictable, La Llorona was not. The only thing that was a little overwhelming was the volume of the movie. When La Llorona was present the entire theater was viberating and it ended up desensitizing us 15min in.

I really enjoyed it and it kept me guessing. Perfect amount of jump scares and it was thoroughly entertaining. I also loved that it connected to larger universe

Great story line. Had me jumping out of my seat.
