Emotionally devastating but in a good way. Gut wrenching and you will cry.

Very moving

I loved it! It was somewhat slow at the beginning, but it made up for it in its finale.

I think this is one of the most beautiful films I have seen in some time! It was elegantly shot and costumed, the acting was stellar, and the script adapted O'Farrell's wonderful novel very skilfully. I have already raved about it to several friends. My students loved the film too!
