Very well acted, suspenseful, scary at times, with just enough humor to maintain balance. Beautiful cinematography drew you into the locations, and an eye for nuance kept your eyes darting all over the screen looking for clues to try to guess what was going to happen next. A truly great movie going experience.

Scary thriller

There are many unanswered questions at the end and I thought it was an excellent tie-in to the first conjuring movie. I didn't really like the "previously on" scenes at the beginning with the other conjuring movies. I feel it'll make new watchers feel confused or left out. Frenchie/Maurice was a great choice for comedic relief and I'm so happy he lived (for now). Anyways, 4/5 Would recommend.
