It was really depressing, so in that context Theron did a awesome job! People walking out of the movie either liked it or didn’t like it.

Charlize Theron's portrayal showed that she did not spend much time with her newly born baby which is a farce. It didn't measure up to a great movie to me as she was partying and doing things a good Mom wouldn't do if she had children. What a mess!

The plot twist at the end is hugely unsatisfying and undercuts the positive message conveyed about motherhood and support earlier in the film.
