I was entertained through the whole movie! I'm not a big Steve Carrell fan but in the role as Bobby Riggs he won me over! Emma Stone was fantastic as Billie Jean King!!!

Good memories

While I know that they had to cover things other than the event itself such as the sexuality of BJK, I feel like they may have gone overboard with the sexual tones. Other than this critical aspect, Steve Carrell and Emma Stone prove once again they have great on-screen chemistry and put together a great performance for an alternative sports flick.

The character development of the main actors goes in depth so the viewer understands their motivation and passions within the context of the time the battle of the sexes took pace. Tennis fans will enjoy this movie. If they witness the actual King-Riggs match, it will be even more enjoyable.
