Very interesting, based on a true story. I appreciated that, while it did have some sad moments, it wasn't too dark and had a positive ending.

Well written and excellent performances by everyone involved. The story was emotional and historically significant for me. My husband is of Polish heritage and I am of Jewish heritage. The only "glitch" that confused me a bit was when the main actress showed up in a shot and was suddenly very pregnant! Too much editing! Other than that...very well done! I enjoyed it very much.

I truly enjoyed it. I never heard of this story and was shocked to hear what this poor family and the animals went through. A very good movie I would recommend.
