The movie was visually entertaining, however, the last 10-15 minutes were a trainwreck. It had a lot of funny parts, watching two people fumble into an intimate situation, however, the end of the film, watching this man unravel was completely missed. I'm not sure if it was because it was stop-animation or if it was just poorly written, but the end of the film was a complete miss.

You can appreciate Anomalisa for the unique filmmaking, but that doesn't necessarily mean you have to like it.Anomalisa is one of those movies you walk out of wondering what you just saw. A weird and seemingly pointless film with no real story.

Read the synopsis but did not expect animation. The animation was real life like but the, objective was unclear. Left with the feeling of, "what was that about".
