boring, nonsensical, not scary, goofy, bad and inconsistent accents, awful dialogue

While the actors were phenomenal, the plot didn’t do enough to explain itself to the audience. It was convoluted and the end didn’t feel like a resolution even though it should’ve felt like such.

The pace of the movie was too slow. It tries to build tension, but fails. Similarly, the frequency of "frights" and scary moments were below par. While one can understand why many directors try to make an ending ambiguous (it's a cliche now, stop it!), the conclusion was still a bit confusing - were both sides right? It's just a time-waster.

The movie had a promising start with a great setting and an engaging first 30 minutes. However, once the setting was established, the story slowed down significantly and ultimately went nowhere. I ended up rooting for the villains, just hoping the movie would wrap up. Unfortunately, Halle Berry missed the mark on this one.
