It was fine. Not as good as Superman. It felt like it was hitting all the superhero movie beats, but not doing anything particularly good with it. Lobo was good, he was funny and cool. He stole the show in a way that made Supergirl seem even head scratching. David Corenswet is still amazing. Millie Alcock was okay if I'm being honest, I'm not excited for whatever she does next.

I loved Milly Alcock and Jason Momoa's performances. Action scenes were original and choreographed well. It's great to see so much focus on practical and makeup effects. The plot was very clichéd, and characters were poorly drawn - either very simple motivations or no explanation for their actions. Lots of lazy writing and obvious jokes. A fun night out, but kind of a letdown after Superman.

Basically true grit in space. Movie was fine but not amazing. And pacing was a little slow.
