great movie!

The actor who played Ali was phenomenal. I was really immersed in the character. Sam Cooke as well. It was interesting seeing the dynamics of all the personalities as they related to each other.

This movie is deep, thought-proving; time has come for a movie about 4 black men/friends without stereotypical portrayals. You can make movies about the black experience without bullets, sex and gratuitous mayhem. Black men have emotions, fears, conflicts and abing inner strength. When the character says this is amazing that all if this occurred in one night, the same applies to the movie. It’s a marvel that the film makers and actors so deftly brought this together in one movie.

Each actor masterfully depicted their character! Transformative performances and story. Eloquently done!
