Great movie! It began with a well done Joker cartoon. The movie was great and the character was believable and sympathetic. I hope he returns.

Great acting by Phoenix and Gaga. A complex portrayal of mental health and a darker take on Joker and Harley that was a bit discomforting at times, specifically the idolization of Joker by fanatics who value chaos. The characters that should represent good and light were as flawed—like the thuggish prison guards and Harvey Dent who came off as a politician more than a district attorney seeking justice. Overall, it was not a comic book film nor a throwaway popcorn movie, but a multilayer look at the world’s saddest clown.

Excellent acting. Wasn't expecting the ending.
