It is complicated. I didn't realize until we started watching that it was JUDAS and not Judah; and knowing how Chairman Hampton's story ends I was mad the whole time. I think the trailer did an effective job getting me into the chair to see the film--if I had realized it was about the betrayal I may have been less.inclined to watch it. But it did a great job of illuminating him ANDhis assination

This movie is powerful. It showcase the power of black unity and black love.

Shows how corrupt the government is. We already knew it. Time and time again as Black people have "picked ourselves up by the bootstraps" the government has come in to destroy it. Look at thriving Black communities in the day. If they weren't bombed or burned down, a highway, which probably still exists, was thrown right in the middle. The BPP was destroyed from the inside out with informants/rats
