Gladiator 2 is a satisfying follow up to the original! The cast and set pieces were amazing and I had such a great time watching it in IMAX.

It's a pretty solid film. The production value is quite high with great sets and costumes. The biggest flaw is that the film pushes itself into the shadow of the original too much. It tries too hard to incorporate imagery and references from the original that don't seem necessary at all. But if you can get by that and the rush to swap antagonists in act 3 you will still really enjoy it

Awesome movie! It's hard not to compare it to the first Gladiator, however I will say that this movie felt as if it was more a spectacle whereas the original was more narrative driven. Denzel Washington is an absolute force on the screen and steals the spotlight. Pedro Pascal was phenomenal in his role as well. I definitely enjoyed it and would recommend to anyone.

Great action sequences! The inclusion of Maximus and plot twist were nostalgic. Denzel was amazing. Would have like a better build up for him and Paul. 4 stars!!!
