Get storyline and artistry. Saw it in 3D, which makes it pop out, but not necessary to get wrapped up in the story. I would have liked to have seen a little more explanation of the backgrounds throughout, but overall, I thought it was a beautifully done Japanese movie. Kudos to George Takei for the awesome side character references :-)

Good movie. Very interesting story with some nice twists. Still try to understand the title. Not sure what the two strings are referring too.

The animation is gorgeous and the storytelling is largely enthralling. While the third act is beautifully told and compelling, the villain is kind of a let down. I didn't completely get his motivations, but that didn't stop me from loving the movie.
